Kashif Ali (, born 4 November 1992) is a Pakistani singer and reality programs competitor. He is best known for reality show ''Pakistan Idol''.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=https://mobilinkmusic.mobilinkgsm.com/pakistanidol/contestants/kashif-ali/ )〕 Kashif hails from a background of musicians, at very early age he started singing. His performances in series are considered as one of the finests performance of ''Idols''. He became famous for his emotional and touching performances. currently he is in among Top 8 finalists. His music influenced singers includes Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Javed Ali, Sonu Nigam and composer/singer A. R. Rehman.
==Personal life==
Kashif Ali was born to Muslim parents in Lahore on November 4, 1992 as Kashif Ali Baber, his father is a famous Pakistani flutist who has worked in many Pakistani films. Kashif Ali has been singing from the age of seven and got trained by his grandfather. Kashif did matriculation and went to Punjab University for graduation but dropped out to take part in Idol series.
